They expand into adjacent neighborhoods to kick out the criminals that make the area so dangerous. Baltimore is the murder capital, and the area around Hopkins is the epicenter of killing. The trauma cases are a selling point for top surgical students.Im the past, Baltimore officials have even helped their "gentrification" by taking homes from owners through eminent domain and selling them to Hopkins.

Ahh. Uppity students who think they run the show. They don’t. Just go to freakin school, pay attention in class, find a job that will pay off those huge loans and move on with life. You don’t know enough to save the world yet. I’m no fan of Hopkins and the Bloomberg/New York progressive influence. We saw how that worked with the head of DEI. I do say that much of Baltimore, especially East Baltimore, would lay in ruins without their continual investment. They certainly don’t need student approval for those projects.
