J.M. Biggs: We all have a calling to serve God

Each and every one of us has a calling. No matter how great or small the calling is, we must be about our father’s business.

We must also understand that if the Lord calls us into the ministry, that does not mean he calls everyone to preach. That is why it is so important that we work on ourselves, that we may hear from the Lord.

Nowadays when people get saved, either they don’t want to do anything or everyone wants to preach. Understand that whatever the Lord has called us to do, it will be blessed.

There are thousands of churches in this country that the Lord has nothing to do with. Those churches are wasting time because they will be full of the devil.

We must seek answers from the Lord about what he wants out of our lives, so that he may glorify us in it. There is much work to be done, but little time to do it.

We cannot forget about the great shaking the Lord is about to send to this Earth. He’s doing it to wake up his church so that we may win lost souls for him. Don’t ever try to do anything by your own strength. You will end up becoming weary. At that point, a lot of people backslide.

The Lord is looking for someone to show himself strong. Then the sky is the limit.

I have said so many times before that of everything Jesus Christ did while on this Earth, we are supposed to be doing some of the very same things. We are living in a church era of lazy saints. No one really wants to fast, pray or read the word. We have a TV and cellphone problem. Let us not forget about the video games.

Listen, everyone, our country is in trouble. God is looking for some prayer warriors. Someone who does not love the world more than they love him.

I, myself, have basically given my life totally to the Lord. I’m doing it because I owe him everything. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t fast, pray and read the word. In fact, it is very dangerous for a child of God to leave out of their homes every day without praying and reading the word.

I have been doing it for years now. I did not just start to do it. I suffered greatly to get where I am in the Lord today. He has rewarded me greatly. If I told you some of the things the Lord is doing through me, you would not believe it.

Along with those things, he’s given me a thorn in my flesh that I may not rise up with pride. Sometimes things are so painful. But I love the Lord so much.

He wants to use all of you mightily. That is why I preach to you the way I do. Don’t you want it? If you do, remember this one thing. For much that is given, much is required. We cannot love the things of this world and love the Lord with all our heart at the same time. It will not happen.

Let us all seek the Lord’s face and be about his business. Our families’, friends’ and loved ones’ lives may depend on it. I love you, and I am always praying for you. God bless!
