T.J. Houshmandzadeh: Aiyuk doesn't want to leave 49ers

The main question for the San Francisco 49ers is will they pay Brandon Aiyuk? And if they do, at what price point? And how long will it take to reach a deal?

Former Bengals Pro Bowl wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who has worked with Aiyuk previously, joined Willard and Dibs to discuss his view of the current contract stalemate.

He believes the posturing from either side is simply business. Houshmandzadeh revealed that he spoked to Aiyuk and that Aiyuk, who, unlike Deebo Samuel, hasn't requested a trade, does not want to leave.

"I mean, I've talked to B.A.," Aiyuk said. "He don't want to leave San Francisco. He just wants to get paid. Just very simple. He just wants to be rewarded for the work that he's put in."

Houshmandzadeh added that he believes - and clarified it was not something Aiyuk told him - that Aiyuk would accept a 49ers offer of $27 million per year, if they put that on the table.
