I foster and brought a puppy home. She had COVID or dog cold (that always sounds better). I ended up paying over $600.00 in Vet bills because my chi babies all got it . And, I caught it. Fostering is great. But, ask questions about the dog before you bring it home. I still think they should hold them for 10 days. But, there are to many. And, the longer a pup stays at the Shelter the higher the risk of Parvo or transferring Parvo or distemper to other dogs. Quarantine all Foster pups away from your children and animals until you know for sure they are not sick.
