Local gymnasts compete at Badger State Games

Two local gymnasts competed for The Kipsters team out of Deutsch’s Gymnastics in Rice Lake at the Badger State Games in Marshfield April 5-7.

In Level Four ‘A’, Annika Schlafke of Hayward took seventh place with an overall score of 33.8. She scored 8.2 in the vault, 7.7 in the bars, 9.15 in the beam (sixth place, personal best), and 8.75 in the floor exercise (seventh place).

The Kipsters Level Four team took sixth place overall.

In Level Three, Junior B, Natalie McCue of Hayward scored 33.35 all-around, including 9.0 in the vault (seventh place), 8.6 n the bars, 8.25 in the beam and 7.5 in the floor exercise.
