Bonus Ski Weekend at Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort, California

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort has boasted some solid snow totals this winter. Their site reports 372” for their season total, and that’s good enough to stay open for one more weekend.

It’s located just north of Yosemite in the Stanislaus National Forest near Bear Valley Mountain Resort where this iconic photograph was taken last season.

Absolutely buried!

Dodge Ridge will be open Saturday and Sunday (4/27 and 4/28) for one last winter send off. The weather is shaping up to be nice with sunny skies and highs in the upper 40s for both days.

As of now, they are planning to open Chair 5 (Gold Rush) with the possibility of opening one more, depending on weather and snow conditions.

“Our Bonus Weekends are a special treat for our dedicated snow enthusiasts,” says Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort Marketing Director, Hanna Craig. “This year, everything aligned perfectly with a robust snowpack, promising forecasts, and flexibility in our schedule to add an extra weekend of enjoyment.”

Saturday will be filled with food, drinks, and entertainment. The Way Station will be grooving to a live DJ with beers flowing and food at the ready.

Sunday is the Dodge Ridge Final Toast to Winter at 12 P.M. at the Way Station. One must pay homage to the natural forces that bring the fluffy white stuff to our mountains.

The first 25 people in line get an exclusive, limited edition Chair 5 hat, and there will be a Dodge Ridge Family group drone photo. Everyone is invited.
