Eminem announces 'The Death Of Slim Shady' as next album, arriving this summer

This just in — Shady’s back, well kind of. As Eminem announced the impending arrival of his 12th album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) , its seems Marshall Mathers is saying goodbye to his alter ego’s alter ego.

News of the new album, set to arrive this summer, arrived via a video Eminem posted on socials. The spoof style clip of IRL crime show Unsolved Mysteries , called Detroit Murder Files reports, “the blonde anti-hero known as Slim Shady has had no shortage of enemies… The same rude lyrics and controversial antics might have ultimately led to his demise.” Ultimately leading to the mystery of, “who killed Slim Shady?”

In between throwback footage of the Detroit rapper, and images of bloody knives, a blurred out Eminem makes an appearance in an interview style shot. Also making a cameo, his longtime associate 50 Cent declared, “he’s not a friend, he’s a psychopath.”

“I knew it was only a matter of time for Slim,” Em lastly states as the emcee “unintentionally” pops his head out of the pixilation.
