do not pass students on if they miss more than X number of days without a doctor's excuse. it worked 40 years ago. now we have medical facilities in the buildings. students can see a doctor, get an excuse. also look at those students who work. are they working on days they missed school. one of the responsibilities of high school--especially 11-12 grade, is to get them ready for the workplace. how long would an employee who missed 111 days in 7 months be employed?
