    Delaware Man Arrested for Receiving Stolen Property in West Chester

    On the afternoon of April 11, 2024, Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police apprehended Taron Venell Brown, a 43-year-old male from New Castle, Delaware, on charges of receiving stolen property and other related offenses. The arrest occurred around 3:18 PM during a routine patrol along the 1000 block of Wilmington Pike in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

    According to police reports, an officer was alerted to the presence of a stolen vehicle within the area. Subsequently, a traffic stop was initiated which led to the discovery of the stolen property. Brown, who is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 185 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, was found to be in possession of the stolen vehicle.

    In addition to the charge of receiving stolen property, Brown faces charges for improper display of a license plate. The vehicle involved in the incident was promptly identified, leading to Brown’s arrest under case reference ID WE-24-07275.
