A popular restaurant chain has opened a new location in Westlake.

Are you a fan of Chipotle? If the answer is yes, then you might be glad to hear that the popular chain has opened a new restaurant in Westlake. According to this post from Kevin Moss CRE's social media account, the new Westlake location - which can be found at 25350 Detroit Rd - opened its doors on April 29. This is the second Chipotle restaurant in Westlake; the chain also has a location in West Bay Plaza at 29990 Detroit Rd.

The restaurant chain is known for their customizable burritos. Burrito orders start with a protein of your choice. Options include chicken, steak, beef barbacoa, carnitas, sofritas (which are made with tofu), veggies with guacamole, and for a limited time, chicken al pastor.

Then you choose between white rice and brown rice. Then you have the option of adding black and/or pinto beans.

Next, you can add any of these toppings: fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, tomatillo-green chili salsa, tomatillo-red chili salsa, sour cream, fajita veggies, cheese, and/or romaine lettuce. For an upcharge, you can add guacamole or queso blanco.

The menu also includes customizable burrito bowls, quesadillas, salads, and tacos.

The chain also offers lifestyle bowls, which are meals designed to accommodate certain dietary needs. If you're looking for a keto-friendly option, check out the wholesome bowl (which comes with supergreens lettuce blend, chicken, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, and guacamole) or keto salad bowl, which comes with supergreens, chicken, tomatillo red-chili salsa, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, and cheese.

If you're looking for vegan options, check out the veggie full bowl (which comes with white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, and guacamole) and plant-powered bowl, which comes with supergreens lettuce blend, white rice, sofritas, fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, and guacamole.

As for sides, the restaurant chain offers chips with guacamole, salsa, or queso blanco.

The new location has a Chipotlane, which is a drive-thru where customers can pick up their mobile orders.
