Pioneers boys take eighth in Mora

The Pierz Pioneers boys golf team finished in eighth place at a conference meet in Milaca Thursday, April 25. Nathan Cekalla took 16th place with a score of 83. Ty Liedenfrost finished in 39th with 96. Jack Prokott followed in 40th place (97), Caden Knutson in 41st (98)Beau Virnig in 44th and Brayden Faust in 46th (106).

The Pierz Pioneers boys golf team competed in a two-man scramble tournament in Mora Wednesday, May 1. The team of Nathan Cekalla and Beau Virnig took fifth, with a score of 73 . As a whole, the Pioneers took fourth out of seven teams.

Flyers’ Ryan Oothoudt makes top five in conference meet

The Little Falls Flyers took fourth at the conference meet with 31.5 team points in Milaca Thursday, 25. Ryan Oothoudt placed fifth with a 78. Luke Avery finished in 12th with a 82. Peyton Carr in 23rd (87) Dawson Carr in 31st (93) and Nolan Kray in 34th (94).
