The Fantastic Four Adds Brand New Cast Member

Marvel's The Fantastic Four has got itself a shiny new cast member.

Deadline reports that Paul Walter Hauser has joined the Matt Shakman-directed film, which will follow one of Marvel's most iconic families.

Who will he play? Just like the film's plot details, that remains a secret.

Hauser joins an already stacked cast, which includes Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/Thing and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch.

Hauser won an Emmy last year for his role in Dennis Lehane's Black Bird . He has also appeared in movies such as I, Tonya , BlacKkKlansman , Richard Jewell , Da 5 Bloods and Cruella .

The Fantastic Four , co-written by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer - taking inspiration from the comics of Stan Lee - will head into production this summer, as per Deadline.

Fans will have to wait a while before they find out what happens in The Fantastic Four , as the film is not due to hit theaters until July 25, 2025.

During this year's CinemaCon, all upcoming Disney films releasing in theaters in 2024 were revealed , and Marvel will add another chapter to the story this year with Deadpool & Wolverine .
