Brooks defeats Wiswell; Williams, Cox new faces on DISD Board of Trustees

Tommy Brooks defeated Ashleigh Wiswell 391 to 357 to take the single contested seat on the Dumas City Commission, according to the unofficial results of the May 4 election.

In the race for three seats on the Dumas Independent School District Board of Trustees, Jill Williams (871) Brandon Cox (438), and Brent Clark (340) emerged as the top three candidates of an eight-person field. They will take the seats.
