The imagination station was indeed something that the kids liked playing on but it was a maintenance nightmare from replacing boards to making sure it was safe for kids to play on.The emphasis from the very beginning was to replace the old train that was there years before which was a staple for Central Park at the time that old train like the imagination station was very unique to Central Park from every other Park in the City. Maybe something unique to Central Park can replace the imagination station that no other Park has.
