A new food hall coming to Chamblee is now fully leased with the addition of a barbecue concept.

South End Smokehouse is set to open at Chamblee Tap & Market , an upcoming food hall located across the street from Chamblee City Hall and the planned Chamblee Town Center. It is set to open later this year.

South End Smokehouse comes from owner-operators Buzz Schuster , Ken Man and Raquel Stalcup . The childhood friends grew up in the restaurant business and have come together to create the new concept. Man and Schuster are pitmasters, while Stalcup handles operations.

The changing menu will feature barbecue favorites like tender brisket available on weekends, smoked turkey, salmon, pulled pork and St. Louis cut ribs, alongside unique offerings like brisket eggrolls and “tatchos” – a twist on nachos using tater tots.

South End Smokehouse joins two previously announced concepts coming to Chamblee Tap & Market: Let’s Taco Bout It and Southern Grace . The food hall will also feature Sidecar Coffee , as well as an adjoining taproom with 20 taps offering an array of beers and wines.

Edie Weintraub from terra alma helped secure the lease.

“We couldn’t be happier with the food hall Edie curated for Chamblee Tap & Market,” said David Heymann , who is co-partner at Chamblee Tap & Market with Jeff Kimmel . “We have three flavors that aren’t in downtown Chamblee already. Having a top-notch barbecue spot perfectly rounds out our mission to create a vibrant, community-focused space. This is exactly the type of business to help transform the Chamblee area into a bustling destination for food lovers.”

The micro food hall is designed by Vickers Design Group . It will operate seven days a week and include a private event space available for special occasions.
