Estranged husband of missing Ana Knezevich arrested 3 months after she vanished in Spain

The estranged husband of a Florida woman who vanished in Spain in the middle of their divorce has been arrested at a Miami airport after arriving back home from Serbia, according to authorities.

He flew in from Belgrade in his native Serbia, where he had been living for the last few months while denying any involvement in the disappearance of his estranged wife, whom he had lived with in Miami.
Knezevich was arrested as part of the ongoing muli-national investigation led by the FBI in Florida and involving police in Spain and Colombia as well as the Belgrade Interior Attache Office, the report said.
Ana, a Colombian-American citizen, had moved to Spain in December to clear her mind while going through a “difficult divorce” with Knezevich, it was previously revealed.

She rented an apartment in Madrid and stayed close to her friends before she suddenly disappeared.
Her friend Sanna Rameau told WSVN she failed to connect with Ana on the day she vanished, with Rameau receiving a message the following day about a strange meet up Ana allegedly had.
The message claimed Ana met a man and that they had a unique “connection” almost instantly, with Ana opting to travel with him to a country home with spotty cell service.

Ana’s family had also received the message in Spanish and told police that they not only believe the message wasn’t sent from her, they think it wasn’t even sent from a native Spanish speaker.
Rameau told the Daily Mail that Ana had recently been using the Bumble dating app and police have interviewed men she chatted with from the site.
David had refused to travel to Spain to assist authorities investigating Ana’s disappearance. Newsnation
Officers also found surveillance footage from Ana’s building showing a man in a black helmet spraying paint over two security cameras.
Knezevich has maintained that he played no role in Ana’s disappearance, with his attorney, Ken Padowtiz, speaking with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo claiming the couple’s split was amicable.
The claim contradicts that of Joaquin Amills, the president of the SOS Missing Persons Association, who said in a statement that the divorce proceedings were so difficult that Ana was “asking for medical help for depression.”

Padowtiz also defended his client’s refusal to fly to Spain to help in the investigation, claiming Knezevich would be of no use since he doesn’t speak Spanish.
Knezevich has also previously refused to take a lie detector test , which under Florida law serves as admissible evidence in criminal investigations.
Padowtiz could not immediately be reached for comment over Knezevich’s arrest.

why not report he was never in Spain, and that's proven many ways....isn't that relevant NY post? why not report it was him that ended the marriage? why not report the woman was seen at a bar the night before going missing with a man? why not mention she had hoked up with at least 10 different men from dating apps the month before going missing, she was single and living it up. there's so many facts pointing to it NOT being the ex husband, not to mention if he did somehow sneak into Spain and do this crime and then flee back to his home country to avoid because ng caught and arrested why in the heII would he ever fly to America
