This 98-year-old gymnast proves that age really is just a number.

Johanna Quass, the infamous German gymnast, continues to show off her impressive moves — despite being nearly a century old.

Back in 2012, Quaas earned the Guinness World Record of the world’s oldest gymnast . She was only 86 years old at the time.

“The oldest gymnast is Johanna Quaas (b. 20 November 1925, Germany) who, at the age of 86 years, is a regular competitor in the amateur competition Landes-Seniorenspiele, staged in Saxony, Germany,” Guinness World Records wrote. “She performed a floor-and-beam routine on the set of ‘Lo Show dei Record’ in Rome, Italy, on 12 April 2012, where her record was certified.”

Though she retired in 2018, Quaas still shares videos of her moves on Instagram . In fact, here’s a jaw-dropping clip below.

In the video , Quass performs a bar routine to the song “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran — which seemed fitting for the moment.

“When your legs don’t work like they used to before / And I can’t sweep you off of your feet / Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love / Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks / And darling I will be loving you ’til we’re 70 / And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23,” the lyrics go.

The crowd went wild as Quass stunned them with her exceptional moves (and disproved Sheeran’s song). Her physical strength coupled with her grace was nothing short of admirable. As she stuck the landing at the end of her routine, she grinned and waved at the audience.

Several X users shared their thoughts on Quass’s mind-blowing performance.

“Meanwhile, I’m 30 and it hurts to stand up,” one person joked .

“She’s got more energy [than] some people in their 20s,” said another .
