The rapper has now agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor simple battery, TMZ reports and Pitchfork can confirm. As a result of the plea deal, DaBaby has also been sentenced to one day in a Los Angeles County jail (which he has served), given a year of probation, and ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution to the victim.

Queens of the Stone Age have canceled their European tour to allow Josh Homme to fly home for emergency surgery. The band did not reveal the nature of the surgery, but Homme disclosed in 2023 that he had undergone successful treatment for cancer. In a statement, the band said this morning (July 9), “QOTSA regret to announce that Josh Homme must return to the United States immediately for emergency surgery. Every effort was made to push through and play for you, but it is no longer an option to continue.”
