Active-duty airman Fortson from the 4th Special Operations Squadron lost his life in a gunfight with a deputy who responded to a disturbance call at his off-base residence. The deputy claims self-defense, but allegations suggest that the deputy may have entered the wrong apartment as Forton was on FaceTime with a lady when the altercation began.
