    Police: 1 person killed in accident at former Yellow Freight location in Montgomery

    State police say one person was killed Thursday morning in an accident at the former site of Yellow Freight in Maybrook on Homestead Avenue.

    Authorities say the victim died at the scene. They would not confirm how the person was killed.

    Yellow Freight shut down its Maybrook operations last summer.

    A source tells News 12 that workers are on site picking up tractor-trailers recently purchased at auction.

    State police say the incident is under investigation.
