I guess safety took a back seat while I was driving Alcoa hwy just last week. They were milling up old asphalt. The dust was so bad it blocked the vision of drivers. Workers standing there breathing it. When I called TDOT to complain they made an excuse about lack of extra workers that day. I said to the tdot guy that that's a great speech to give at a workers funeral.
