2024-05-10
Len Berman & Michael Riedel In The Morning:
The covid vaccine as been hailed with perhaps equal amounts of praise and skepticism since it was introduced in 2021. One of the common refrains from those against the vaccine has been, “We don’t know the side-effects it could cause.” Now, the man who might be the pre-eminent authority on vaccines in America feels he may have a side-effect from the vaccine, and he is frustrated at the lack of answers. Dr. Gregory Poland of the Mayo Clinic joined the guys in-studio this week to talk about his experience.
Stormy Daniels took the stand this week in the “hush money” trial of former President Donald Trump. But did her testimony get too salacious? We spoke with a correspondent who was in the courtroom and shared everything he heard.
You may not recognize the name Dorian Harewood, but chances are you’d recognize the face or voice from one of the nearly 100 plays and movies he has appeared in, such as “Roots: The Next Generation,” “Full Metal Jacket,” and “Against All Odds.” He’s also the voice telling you what’s next on NBC; he’s been the network’s voice-over guy since 2012. He’s now back on stage, starring in Broadway’s “The Notebook,” and he joined Len and Michael this week to discuss his new role.
Is former President Donald Trump trying to get the judge in his New York City trial to throw him in jail? Streaming host Bill O’Reilly spoke with Mark about what the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee’s strategy might be.
What are the most popular plastic surgery procedures people are having as they get set for summer? WOR’s Dr. Arthur Perry, a leading New York plastic surgeon and host of “What’s Your Wrinkle,” joined Mark to discuss the topic this week.
Should the Met Gala be scrapped? Mark spoke with Showbiz 411’s Roger Friedman, who shared the few highlights and many low-lights from this week’s big New York City event.
