NBC is keeping its new Suits hanging a while longer.

The network on Friday announced its schedule for the 2024-25 TV season, and the offshoot Suits: L.A. — which has yet to receive a series order — was notably absent from the lineup. However, the pilot is still in contention, with a decision to be made at a later date after execs screen the episode in June. If picked up to series, Suits: L.A. could air midseason or roll over to the 2025-26 season, the network notes.

Set in the world of the original USA Network drama, the project follows a brand new character, Ted Black ( played by Arrow’ s Stephen Amell ), a former federal prosecutor from New York who “has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles,” per the official synopsis.

“His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career,” the description continues. “Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”

The Walking Dead alum Josh McDermitt stars opposite Amell as Stuart Lane, who joined up with his buddy Ted Black to build an L.A. firm. Rounding out the series-regular cast are Lex Scott Davis ( The L Word: Generation Q ) as Erica Rollins, a savvy and strong-willed rising star at the firm, and Bryan Greenberg ( One Tree Hill ) as Rick Dodsen, Ted Black’s protégé in the entertainment division.

Also still awaiting word on its fate is the NBC drama pilot Grosse Pointe Garden Society , from Good Girls creator Jenna Bans and executive producer Bill Krebs. The potential series follows four members of a suburban garden club — played by Melissa Fumero ( Brooklyn Nine-Nine ), AnnaSophia Robb ( The Carrie Diaries ), Ben Rappaport ( For the People ) and Aja Naomi King ( How to Get Away With Murder ) — all from different walks of life, who get caught up in murder and mischief as they struggle to make their conventional lives bloom.
