The Rashad Richey Morning Show's weekly segment, " Fitness Friday ," has become a staple of the program, offering listeners expert advice and insights on various aspects of fitness and wellness. In this week's episode, Coach Q , stopped by to share his expertise on the age-old question: what is the best time to work out? As the conversation unfolded, it became clear that there is no one-size-fits-all answer, and that the best time to work out depends on individual goals and circumstances.

According to Coach Q, morning workouts are often touted as the best way to get a jumpstart on the day. However, he revealed that his own approach to fitness has evolved over time. "I used to be a morning workout guy," he said, "but after digging deeper into the topic, I realized that it's not always about when you work out, but about how you work out." Coach Q emphasized that the most important thing is to find a schedule that works for you and stick to it.

When asked about the science behind different workout times, Coach Q pointed out that the human body's core temperature is typically at its peak around 6-7 pm. "This is why evening workouts can be so effective for people who are trying to lose weight or burn off calories," he explained. "Your body is already warm and ready to go, making it easier to get in a good workout."

However, Coach Q also noted that morning workouts can be beneficial for those who are looking to boost their energy levels and improve their cardiovascular system.

In addition to discussing the best time to work out, Coach Q also touched on the importance of warming up before starting any exercise routine. According to Coach Q, a warm-up is essential for preparing the body for physical activity and reducing the risk of injury.
