Fox Fall Schedule: 9-1-1: Lone Star and Accused Return, Family Guy MIA — Plus, What’s Replacing SmackDown?

Fox on Monday became the third broadcast network (after CBS and NBC ) to unveil its schedule for the Fall TV season. What shows are on the move, where did new ones land, and what’s on hold until midseason?

♦ 9-1-1: Lone Star’ s strikes-delayed Season 5 will air Mondays at 8/7c, leading into the new lifeguard drama Rescue: HI-Surf .

♦ In a vote of early confidence, Rescue: HI-Surf — which previously received a six-episode back order — has already been chosen to follow Super Bowl LIX, airing Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025 (get details) .

♦ Accused Season 2 — featuring Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Nick Cannon and returning guest star Michael Chiklis — will lead off Tuesdays. It will be followed by the new Kristen Kreuk crime drama Murder in a Small Town .

♦ Animated comedies Family Guy, The Great North (freshly renewed!) and Grimsburg are all being held for midseason. In the fall, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers and Krapopolis will be joined on Sundays by new ‘toon Universal Basic Guys (which has already been picked up for Season 2 ).

♦ With WWE SmackDown relocating to USA Network in September, Fox will fill Friday nights with a combination of college sports and UFL coverage.
