On Monday afternoon, NFL legend Michael Strahan gave Tom Brady a major update for his NFL broadcasting debut.

Strahan revealed to Brady that his first broadcasting game on FOX will be between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns in week one.

Strahan revealed the news to Brady on stage.

"For the first time in five years, the NFL on FOX opens with the Dallas Cowboys," Strahan said, "It's going to be your first game."

Brady replied, "Amazing. Obviously, having the Cowboys on is a huge draw. As America's team, that's going to get a little hard for me to say that all the time. They were the competition for a long time."

Brady continued, "In this new role, I know the Cowboys, how important they are to this network. They got great storylines. Dak Prescott, let's see if he can finally come through. Micah Parsons, what a great player he is. And coach McCarthy."

A video was posted online of Strahan revealing the news to Brady by the NFL on FOX.

Back in March, Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract to be FOX's lead color commentator. He will kick off his new career with a game between two playoff teams with high expectations for the upcoming season.
