Someone told me years ago the state was broke and didn't have the funding to put forth for these freeway projects, so the money was borrowed from private investors. Now the tolls are pushed so they can pay that borrowed investment off. It kinda makes sense since the state isn't listening to the people or paying attention to the bigger picture. The costs of everyday life has brought us to the tipping point. If we can't afford the toll lane we cram ourselves over to the RT and plugg those lanes up even more. more pissed off drivers getting no where slowly.
