( May 14, 2024 ) Five goals by Arann Hanlon and a 10-point day for Cole Chambers lifted the boys lacrosse team to another blowout victory Monday 14-2 on the road against Old Rochester.

Chambers scored three for a hat trick of his own, to go along with a team-high seven assists, accounting for over half of the Whalers’ goals.

Nolen Mosscrop, Pat Carroll, Colby O’Keefe, Jack Halik, Ryan Davis and Andrick Mooney all scored once for Nantucket in the victory, the Whalers’ 10th in a row as they improve to 12-1 on the year.

Nantucket allowed just one goal in each half, while the Whalers’ scoring was distributed relatively evenly with three goals in the first quarter, five in the second, three in the third and three in the fourth.

Nantucket, the top-ranked team in Div. 4, will head back on the road Wednesday to face Abington, a top-10 team in Div. 4 with a record of 9-4.
