    3 adults, 1 child dead after crash in Jenkins Co.

    JENKINS COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Four people are dead, including a 3-year-old, after a car crash in Jenkins County last Saturday.

    Around 12:19 a.m., Georgia State Patrol (GSP) Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on GA 67 near Gays Hill Church Road.

    Upon arrival, the Troopers determined 1 vehicle was traveling south in the northbound lanes of GA 67 and struck the 2nd veicle head-on as it traveled north on GA 67.

    After the impact, one vehicle burst into flames.

    Two adults in the 2nd vehicle pronounced deceased on the scene, as well as the two occupants in the other, one adult passenger and one 3-year-old child passenger.

    GSP Specialized Collision Restriction Team (SCRT/F) responded to the scene.

    GA 67 (U.S. 25) northbound was closed for approximately 5 hours.

    Around 2:50 P.M., GSP released the names of the deceased in the car accident: Shyneice Sanders, 30, of San Antonio, TX (the driver of the Chevrolet), Zoeigh Wright, 3, of San Antonio, TX, Jacquelyn Johnson, 61, of Statesboro, GA, and William Johnson, 61, of Millen, GA.

    No further information has been released.

    This incident is still under investigation.
