They are scrapping essentially brand new LCS ships because they can't function at high speed because of defective gear boxes. Would have been better off sending them to the Philippines to put on Thomas Shoals. Why the navy paid for a combat ship that can't engage its jet engines to go over 12 knots is a disgrace.

Hopefully the aft AGS is replaced with laser systems as this ship has abundant electrical power source
