    Three concerts on tap this week

    The Surry Arts Council Summer Concert Series continues this week with three scheduled concerts at the Blackmon Amphitheatre.

    The Band of Oz, voted Carolina’s Beach Music Group of the Year in 2023, will take to the stage on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

    On Friday, The Legacy Motown Revue is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

    The Entertainers are set to take the stage on Saturday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m.

    Admission to each show is $17 or a Surry Arts Council Annual Pass. Annual passes can be purchased online www.surryarts.org or at the Surry Arts Council office for $160. Children 12 and younger are admitted free with an adult admission or annual pass. The Dairy Center and Thirsty Souls Community Brewing will be at the concerts to provide food, snacks, drinks, beer, and wine for purchase. No outside alcohol or coolers are allowed to be brought into the amphitheatre area. Those attending are asked to bring a lounge chair or blanket to sit on.
