Fields went 5-7 in his lone season with the Squires.“Under my leadership and with the efforts of my family and many other great people, Manchester football accomplished beyond expectation. The 2023 Squires won five games, the most in a season since 2009. We also advanced to a sectional championship for the first time since 2007, and we achieved this with only three seniors. We leave a team that will return 18 starters and should immediately compete for county, conference and multiple level playoff championships,” Fields wrote in a statement.“I cannot express how extremely grateful I am to have coached this group of young men.
