    KENT COUNTY SHERIFF

    Apr. 30 DFC D. Parent served a Kent County District Court Arrest Warrant for violation of probation on Monica Lynn Wilson, age 37, of Sudlersville. Wilson was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    Apr. 30 DFC D. Parent served a Kent County Circuit Court Bench Warrant for violation of probation on John Alan Campbell, age 62, of Chestertown. Campbell was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    Apr. 30 DFC D. Parent investigated a reported armed robbery that occurred in the 23000 block of Baywood Court, Chestertown. The victim reported that a known suspect entered the residence with a firearm and robbed the occupant of an undetermined amount of US currency. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of Deputies. Under investigation at the time of this report.

    Apr. 30 Cpl. P. Hudson served a Kent County Circuit Court Bench Warrant for failure to comply on Jesse Daniel Stenger, age 51, of Rock Hall. Stenger was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    May 3 Cpl N. Blazejak investigated an incident in which a registered sex offender failed to re-register as required. Under investigation at the time of this report.

    May 4 DFC A. Freeman investigated thefts from unlocked vehicles that were parked at an event in the 13000 block of Turners Creek Road, Kennedyville. Multiple credit cards were stolen from the vehicles.

    May 5 DFC A. Freeman served a Kent County District Court Arrest Warrant for second degree assault and violation of a protective order on Michael Dewayne Glover, age 51, of Chestertown. Glover was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    May 5 DFC D. Parent served three Kent County District Court warrants on David Ray Beachy, age 59, of Millington. Arrest Warrants for First Degree Assault/ Reckless Endangerment and Sex Offender failure to register. A Bench Warrant for violation of probation. Beachy was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    May 5 D/S L. Manning served a Kent County District Court Bench Warrant for violation of probation on Leslie Lynn Leonard, age 36, of Chestertown. Leonard was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    May 6 Cpl. D. Nolan investigated an assault that occurred on Creamery Street, Kennedyville. The victim reported being hit with a board by a known suspect. Under investigation at the time of this report.

    May 6 Cpl. K. Griffitts served two Cecil County District Court Bench Warrants for failure to appear on Theron James Andrews, III, age 36, of Elkton. Andrews was held at the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

    May 6 DFC C. Rhodes served a Queen Anne’s County District Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear on William Dudley Thompson, age 54, of Kennedyville. Thompson was released by the District Court Commissioner on his own recognizance.

    CHESTERTOWN POLICE

    Apr. 23 Ofc R. Thompson took a report for a past theft that occurred in the Washington Square Plaza. The case was active at the time of this report.

    Apr. 23 Ofc R. Thompson took a report for a past malicious destruction of property that occurred in the 400 block of High Street. The investigation was ongoing at the time of this report.

    Apr. 24 Ofc T. Burke took a report for a malicious destruction of property in the 300 block of Cannon Street. The case was active at the time of this report.

    Apr. 26 Pfc B. McGinnis responded to the 300 block of Cedar Street and served a District Court Criminal Summons on Jennifer Marie Bailey, age 44, of Middle River. Bailey was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle stemming from an Apr. 4 report for fraud and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Court date pending at the time of this report.

    Apr. 27 Ofc R. Thompson took a report for counterfeit currency in the 700 block of Washington Avenue. The case was under investigation at the time of this report.
