District 728 Community Education has some new classes coming up soon. They include:

    • Brims & Brews: Tuesday, June 4, 6-9 p.m. Pour Cocktail Bar and Bites, Otsego. Gypsy Creek Artisan Boutique is bringing its hat bar to Otsego. An artist will guide participants in decorating, burning and accessorizing a trendy felt hat. Registration fee includes the hat, two ribbon bands, charm, feather and one design burning. Class fee: $69. Additional hat items will be available for purchase. Food and beverages may be purchased.

    • Beginner Embroidery: Tuesday, June 11, 6:30-8:30 p.m. VandenBerge Middle School, Elk River. Have you been interested in trying embroidery, but aren’t sure where to start or what supplies to get? Start here with your own set of embroidery tools, including a hoop, aida cloth, thread, embroidery needle and pattern. The instructor will walk you through setting up your embroidery hoop, how to begin the stitching, and filling in the pattern. Registration fee of $49 includes the tools listed, which are yours to keep.

    • Wedding Dance Rescue: Wednesday, May 29, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Rogers High School Dance Studio. Your wedding day is getting close, and you don’t know how to dance. In this two-hour lesson, learn everything you need to know to make your first dance much more interesting than shifting awkwardly from side to side. Learn an entrance onto the dance floor, easy steps and turns and a dip to end your dance. $99 per pair.
