Whew! Kel Mitchell’ s ex-wife, Tyisha Hampton , is NOT feeling his recent comments about his former marriage. In the last 17 hours, she’s released at least 18 videos responding to his interview on ‘Club Shay Shay.’
What Kel Mitchell Alleged About His “Ex-Wife”
Shannon Sharpe released the bombshell sit-down on Wednesday (May 15). As we last told y’all, the ‘All That’ actor claimed that his “ex-wife” cheated on him multiple times, resulting in at least two pregnancies while they were married. Additionally, he alleged that his “ex-wife” also put a “hex” on him that required an exorcism.
Though he didn’t name-drop Tyisha Hampton, she is his only ex-wife listed in public records. Other clues he might’ve been discussing Tyisha include his mention of having kids with this “ex-wife” and filing for divorce in 2005.
Hampton was Mrs. Mitchell from 1999 to 2005, during which time they welcomed two children named Lyric and Allure. He’s been married to Asia Lee since 2012, and they also have two children named Wisdom and Honor.
Ultimately, Kel revealed that he stayed with his ex-wife “like a goofy” because they were trying “to make it work for the kids.”
Tyisha Hampton Accuses Kel Mitchell Of Abuse & Abandoning Their Kids
As mentioned, Tyisha isn’t holding back online against her ex-husband! Given that she’s his only public ex-wife whom he shares kids with, she’s being dragged online behind his allegations.
In her first video response — shared on TikTok and Instagram — Hampton laughed off the multiple pregnancies claim and then denied them. She also questioned whether Kel Mitchell remembers incidents like abandoning their children or his alleged role-play and quality time with a man.
“…because it was not me,” the ex-wife said. “Like, who was this? And another thing, how do you remember all these pregnancies, but you don’t remember your kids for, like, years…like 13, 14. And then how do you remember all these pregnancies, but you don’t remember Nick in my cheerleading outfit? Like how does your memory work exactly?”
She continued, listing incidents involving their kids and his alleged abuse of her.
“Do you remember taking your kids’ money? Do you remember being completely being physically, mentally abusive… do you remember that you used to beat me and hit me and choke me and strangle me?” Tyisha Hampton claimed.
Additionally, Hampton said Kel was the one who cheated and suggested that they have a sit-down to chop it up about all these “memories.”

In her second video , she was having a kii over Kel Mitchell’s claims. She said that now she can laugh about what she experienced with her ex-husband. The mathematician joked about launching a comedy career like Torrei Hart.
Tyisha also denied that there was ever an abortion involving another man’s baby. She revealed that she lost her virginity to Kel, got pregnant soon after, and had their son Lyric when they were 18.
So, in her words, his “math” isn’t adding up! Additionally, Hampton accused Kel of clout-chasing by painting himself like a victim and her like a “terrible wh*re sl*tty woman who sleeps around.”
“It’s really interesting to me because he lies about stuff that’s just ridiculous,” Mitchell said, calling her ex-husband a narcissist.
In Dec. 2022, Kel and Tyisha’s daughter, Allure, said her father was there for her financially at age 15. However, to her, he only “paid for what…looked good on paper,” like her first car and high school tuition. Before that, Allure said her father abandoned her at five and was absent from her life for ten years.
Ex-Wife Continues To Drag Kel In “Storytime” Posts
Tyisha Hampton took a page out of Reesa Teesa’s book and unloaded her responses on TikTok, sharing several “storytime” posts. She explained how she met her ex-husband and reiterated that Kel was the cheater in the marriage and that he lied about the abortions.
