How about they do less hours but use it for community service? My kids’ school did that. They also had to, as Juniors, give a speech to their class and parents who wanted to attend, in the auditorium. You didn’t pass until you did it. Those kids were amazing. As were their community service projects. Good stuff all the way around. They knew when they enrolled those expectations.
