    Valentine Theatre announces 2024-25 season

    The Valentine Theatre has announced its 2024-25 season, spanning Broadway events, musical performances, tribute shows, and more.

    The Broadway Series lineup includes Dear Evan Hansen ’s Toledo return, after a successful run at the Stranahan Theater last summer, on Nov. 11, The Midtown Men – Holiday Hits on Dec. 11, The Addams Family – The Musical on Feb. 27, 2025, and The Cher Show , on April 15, 2025.

    Season tickets for all four performances start at $212.

    The Valentine has seven performances to choose from for the continuation of its Pick 4 series. Always Loretta , featuring Emily Portman and members of Loretta Lynn’s original band, The Coalminers, will show on Sept. 20. Jason Petty’s tribute show Hank Williams and My Honky-Tonk Heroes: 100 Years of Hank! will run Nov. 9.

    On Dec. 19, Potted Potter – The Unauthorized Parody will cover the seven Harry Potter books in seventy minutes. Neil Diamond – “I Am, He Said” returns on Jan. 17, 2025, followed by Jim Brickman – The Hits on Feb. 22, 2025.

    On March 7, 2025, Whose Line Is It Anyway improv comedians Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood return with Colin & Brad – Asking For Trouble . Finally, hip-hop and classical mashup group Black Violin returns to Toledo with a new show on May 8, 2025.

    The Silver Screen series is returning with Ocean’s 11 on Nov. 1, It’s A Wonderful Life on Dec. 21 and 22; Mr. Smith Goes to Washington on March 28, 2025; and Pretty in Pink on April 11, 2025. Tickets are $15, with popcorn and other concessions available for purchase at the screening.

    The Gretchen A. Zyndorf Sensory Friendly Children’s Series and Valentine School Days will also be returning next season. Teachers and home school facilitators can contact Valentine School Days Coordinator Kelby Sodeman at 419-214-4803 for more details.

    Season tickets can now be renewed at the box office by calling 419-242-2787 or in person at 410 Adams St., Toledo.

    The Valentine said in a statement that individual tickets and new subscriber orders will go on sale starting July 16, if not sooner.
