    The 6 most-expensive properties for sale in Maine

    These six properties — all along Maine’s scenic coastline — are the highest priced homes on the market in the state right now, according to Maine Listings.

    6) ​​857-861 Kings Highway, Kennebunkport | $8,850,000

    This 5,194-square-foot, 16-room home sits on 0.25 acres. The York County property has five beds, seven baths and one garage, with direct access to Goose Rocks Beach.

    Built in 2013, the house was designed by Carol A Wilson, according to the listing.

    5) 18 Greenway Court, Bar Harbor | $8,950,000

    Nestled in the woods of Mount Desert, this Hancock County residence is surrounded by a spacious 12.3 acres filled with evergreens.

    Constructed in 1980, the house is built in the style of early-1900s grand cottages and offers a view of the coast that rivals Acadia National Park. The 6,326-square foot home has three bedrooms and four baths.
