The office managing partner for Mazars’ Long Island practice, Craig Fine has more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry, with concentrations in food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and industrials.

Fine delivers business advisory and financial management services to owner-operated businesses in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries. His expertise includes accounting, auditing, tax, internal control matters, and mergers and acquisitions. He also advises clients regarding profitability and cash flow improvement and tax minimization strategies and credits. The accounting professional’s experience also encompasses auditing employee benefit plans, including pensions and 401(k) plans.

Fine has lectured at local colleges on careers in public accounting and participates in the firm’s campus recruitment activities. He is also on the board of the Long Island Food Council and a volunteer coach for a little league team.

Prior to joining Mazars in 2012, Fine was a partner at Biscotti Toback & Company CPAs, a midsized firm where he led the accounting and auditing department, specializing in closely held middle-market businesses. As the partner-in-charge of the firm’s personnel and quality control, Fine provided leadership and training in all aspects of accounting, auditing and client service issues for the firm’s managers and staff.

Fine graduated from SUNY Albany, earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting. In addition to being a certified public accountant, Fine holds the chartered global management accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
