It’s hard to believe Luverne wasn’t on the list. The Economic Development Board fails to bring businesses to the area, the Chamber of Commerce fails as a chamber. Non profit organizations in the city do not adhere to the rules set for non profits. The downtown area has empty store fronts, debris and liter line the streets, weeds have overtaken the shrubs, yet not one person shows any pride . The government does as they please , those who voted these individuals in do not have a clue as to what is going on.The meetings are public yet very few have access to them. There are a select few who make the rules and run the town as they see fit. If you aren’t in the clique you aren’t anyone. Rules and laws are made for all to follow not in “ The Friendliest City in the South” which by the way isn’t the true.Luverne has not prospered nor will it unless changes are made. What a shame.
