    According to the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, A grave and urgent warning has been issued for parts of Kansas and northwest Oklahoma, with significant weather events expected to unfold from late afternoon into mid-evening.

    The National Weather Service has forecasted a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms tonight, with the terrifying potential for a catastrophic derecho—a violent and devastating windstorm. The storm system may also produce very large hail and a few tornadoes.
