Get Ready For This Block-Party-Style Art Celebration: Free Admission, Food Trucks, & More!

    2024-05-20

The North River Arts Society has announced the return of its Annual Festival of the Arts for its 47th year! "The Festival encompasses fine art, photography, sculpture, live performances by musicians, dancers and thespians, plein air demos, free children’s activities, artisans’ creations, delicious fare prepared by local food trucks, and more!" the North River Arts Society shared. The event, which serves as the North River Arts Society’s biggest annual fundraiser, celebrates the multitude of creative talent within the community.

Set in the historic Marshfield Hills Village, the Festival of the Arts is a two-day block-party-style celebration. This year, the festival is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, specifically on May 25th & 26th, from 10 am to 5 pm.

"We are thrilled to announce the beloved Festival of the Arts is back, in-person, with all our traditional events, entertainment, and offerings!" the North River Arts Society announced. This inclusive event is free and open to the public. To make it even more accessible, free parking is provided at Eames Way School, with a shuttle bus service available.

The North River Arts Society extends a warm invitation to all, exclaiming, "Don't miss the kick off to the Summer!" If this sounds like a celebration you won't want to miss, be sure to mark your calendar and prepare to immerse yourself in a vibrant display of community creativity.
