Among the students honored was Avery Cox, a senior from All Hallows High School. Avery, who has been a scholarship recipient since the first grade, has distinguished himself as the student body president and a key member of his school community. He will be attending Fordham University in the fall on a full scholarship to study Finance, aspiring to become an accountant. Avery's education has been generously sponsored by Jim Naughton and Laura Richards, who have supported him throughout his entire Catholic school journey. Naughton, an Inner-City trustee since 2018, and Richards are currently sponsoring 67 students in Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese. They have been dedicated donors to the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, and by the end of this year, they will have supported the education of over 600 students.

The Inner-City Scholarship Fund has impacted the lives of many by providing families with financial needs the opportunity to give their children a quality, values-based K-12 Catholic education within the Archdiocese of New York.
