    Wednesday, May 22Load ‘em in the Dark Cattle Company’s regular Wednesday night team roping from 6 to 10 p.m. in the Indoor Arena at the Bannock County Event Center in Pocatello. Admission is free.

    Stiff Richard will perform live starting at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the First national Bar, 232 W. Center St. in Pocatello.

    Wednesday-Saturday, May 22-25The Palace Theatre, 158 E. Chubbuck Road in Chubbuck, will put on a production of “Mean Girls Jr.” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 23-24, and at noon and 7 p.m. Saturday, May 25. Tickets can be purchased at palacetheatrearts.com/meangirls.

    Thursday, May 23The Yellowstone Restaurant, 230 W. Bonneville St. in Pocatello, hosts live jazz featuring Freddy Gildersleeve and rotating guests every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Y Lounge.

    Station Square, 200 S. Main St. in Pocatello, hosts open mic night every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.

    North Fork Crossing will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Pierre’s Theatre, 37 N. Main St. in Victor. Founded in early 2021, North Fork Crossing has quickly made their presence known all around Montana. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at tinyurl.com/bdh4npf5.

    Friday, May 24

    Acclaimed Australian movie, “Everything in Between” will be shown at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, in the Bengal Theater at ISU. This story follows an alienated teenager who forms a deep bond with a world traveling free spirit as they learn to find meaning and purpose through the pain of love and loss. Admission is $3 for the public, $2 for ISU staff/faculty and free for ISU students.

    Friday-Monday, May 24-27The Idaho Field of Heroes Memorial will be open from Friday, May 24, to Monday, May 27, at Century High School. Visit idahofieldofheroes.com to view the full schedule.

    Saturday, May 25The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October at Lookout Point in downtown Pocatello.

    The Blackfoot Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October at 1800 E. Airport Road in Blackfoot.

    Pocatello Downs horse racing is set for Saturday, May 25. Gates open at noon, and the first post time is 1 p.m. Admission is $5, and children 12 and younger get in free. Wear your best Hawaiian shirt.

    Kenny and Claire are scheduled to play at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at The Falls Church, 6070 S. 15th E. in Idaho Falls. Kenny and Claire are a folk/Americana worship duo based in Nashville, Tennessee. Tickets can be found at tinyurl.com/56j9ypdf.

    Saturday-Monday, May 25-27The 2024 Field of Honor Memorial will be open from 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, to 8 p.m. Monday, May 27, at Russ Freeman Park in Idaho Falls.

    Sunday, May 26Pocatello Downs horse racing is set for Sunday, May 26. Gates open at noon, and the first post time is 1 p.m. Admission is $5, and children 12 and younger get in free. SRD’s petting zoo will be on site from 2 to 4 p.m.

    Monday, May 27The historic town of Chesterfield in Southeast Idaho will hold its season opening on Monday, May 27. Events start at 9 a.m. with a 5K run and continue throughout the day. To view the schedule, visit historicchesterfield.org.

    Swan Lake Summer Fest will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, May 27, at Thomas Mercantile, 31078 S. Highway 91 in Swan Lake. Celebrate the coming of summer with vendors, food trucks and live entertainment. Admission is free.

    The Pocatello Food Truck Round-Up is open from 4 to 8 p.m. every Monday at Lookout Point through September.

    The Art of Hoppiness will host paint night at 6 p.m. Monday, May 27, at Jim Dandy Brewing, 305 E. Lander St. in Pocatello. The cost is $35 and includes all the supplies. Register at theartofhoppiness.com/currentclasses.
