They evacuated my daughter my daughter’s school wich is Central. And did not inform us until after the kids came home. They said they wernt evacuate any blds. But they did, and the notifications never said anything about the school and when they did, never said what school.

If you walk the sidewalk up Boston Ave toward Bridgeport Hospital, staying on the right side facing uphill, there is a hole in the sidewalk cement. This is the last set of sidewalk cement before you cross the side street and reach the sidewalk outside the track at the school. It's in front of a few houses and a store on the corner. Coming from that hole is natural gas from the gas lines under the road. You can even light the gas and it will remain lit until you step on the hole. Apparently SCG doesn't seem to find it unsafe bc after being told about it and sending a man to check it out, nothing was done. I just find it odd that I have to pay an arm and a leg for what I use at my home but they can allow it to flow out of the sidewalk, as if it's free.
