Wow, Cashmere is a pretty small town, yet reading the money brought in through all the taxes on everything boggles my mind. That is a lot of money, maybe all the city employees including the mayor should have their pay reevaluated instead of increasing property taxes every year. 1% each year can be a large burden especially on older folks who have paid off their home and live on fixed income. Shame on these officials who think everyone can keep paying more money for less services while maybe they should learn to live within their budget or cut some unnecessary services.
