Kelsey Plum, Diana Taurasi Involved In Multi-Player Altercation During Aces-Mercury

On Tuesday night, Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury defeated Kelsey Plum and the Las Vegas Aces by a final score of 98-88. Both teams move to 2-1 on the season.

Despite the win, Taurasi struggled throughout the game, only scoring nine points on 3 of 13 shooting. Plum scored 27 points for the Aces in the loss.

Late in the second quarter, with just over a minute remaining, an altercation broke out between multiple players from both teams. The squabble started after things got a little heated between Jackie Young and Sophie Cunningham. Taurasi and Plum ended up in the middle of the altercation, along with several others.
