Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Rockvale High School four-star safety Jaylan Morgan got a look behind the curtains at Georgia over the weekend.

The No. 226 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings took part in Georgia’s scavenger hunt weekend on Saturday during an unofficial visit. It was Morgan’s first visit to Georgia since Sept. 24, 2022.

Morgan came away impressed with everything he saw in Athens over the weekend. Georgia’s culture shined through the events of Saturday.

“How competitive the spirit was everybody was getting after it even though it was something as little as a scavenger hunt and building teamwork skills with other recruits and coaches was a highlight for sure,” Morgan told DawgsHQ.

Georgia made the message to Morgan clear. The Bulldogs made Morgan feel like a major priority of a target in the class of 2025.

“They wanted me at Georgia and wanted to find smart, instinctive players and players that are great on and off the field and I fit that mold,” Morgan said.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Tennessee as Morgan’s leader. The in-state Volunteers have a 77 percent according to RPM.

Coming out of the visit, Georgia is a major contender in Morgan’s recruitment.

“Georgia is one of my top contenders right now,” Morgan said.

Morgan made a few major connections on Saturday. One of the player-related connections came with fellow four-star safety Anquon Fegans .

Morgan and Fegans were teammates during the scavenger hunt. They worked themselves into a third-place finish. Morgan also had the chance to connect with Georgia co-defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson and cornerback Donte Williams .

Building those connections was a major highlight of the weekend for Morgan.

“Overall it was a great experience talking to all of them and getting an understanding of their mindset and how they look at things which helps me know what Georgia stands for in my decision,” Morgan said.

Morgan will take an official visit to Georgia on June 21.
