Ridiculous, just so you know that ambulance service is most likely out of network with your insurance and costs thousands of dollars even if they barely touch you or just transport you 5 miles to the hospital. Not using any equipment other than the rig itself. Happened to a family member … from Walmart to stmarys was over $2000 with a make shift sling using surgical tape/gauze. Nothing else but a ride. All because of a slip and fall at Walmart who insisted she go by ambulance. They aren’t paying and insurance said it wasn’t in network and covered only $100-200??
