Bring back ASN programs that offer LPN to ASN bridge programs within a year..that will quickly help with the nursing shortage .. then while they have their ASN they came go back for BSN.. they programs are too long with a lot of courses you'll NEVER need as a nurse .. it's all about they money schools make for unnecessary classes before you can even get into the nursing program. focus more on how to get LPNs advanced more quickly

I think most nursing education programs use simulation mannequins now, and all nursing students practice nursing skills in a lab setting before working with "real" clients/ patients.
